A suspect from Tonbridge has been charged with multiple offences of indecent exposure relating to a series of alleged incidents in the town between 14 June 2023 and 8 April 2024, involving a man wearing women’s clothing.
During this time, Kent Police has been investigating reports the suspect exposed himself on at least three separate occasions, to two women and a child. The offences are said to have happened in and around locations including Priory Wood, Silver Close and Hilltop.
A man, aged 32, and from Tonbridge, was arrested on 9 April and charged with three counts of exposure. He was further charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice.
On 10 April, the man appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and after pleading not guilty was remanded in custody. A trial is scheduled to take place at the same court on 22 May.
