Man and 16-year-old boy charged following series of rural car theft burglaries

Two teenagers have been charged by police investigating a series of burglaries in which vehicles were stolen from rural driveways.

An investigation by Kent Police’s Crime Squad has since been ongoing, resulting in the arrest of three teenagers on Tuesday 16 April.

A man aged 18, of Kettering, Northamptonshire, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named because of his age, have since been charged with conspiracy to burgle. Both suspects are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 18 April.

A 14-year-old boy has been bailed pending further enquiries.
