A suspected burglar has been charged after two homes were broken into in Dartford on the same night.
In the early hours of Wednesday 17 April 2024, a burglary was reported in Hall Road where electrical items were stolen along with children’s passports. Shortly after this a house in nearby Joyce Green Lane was broken into where a car was stolen along with a laptop and cash.
Police arrested a man at around 11.00am. Items from the first burglary were also recovered and returned to the victim.
Following enquiries a man aged 37 and from Erith, was charged with two counts of burglary. He was due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 18 April.
