Local police response officers were on duty in Ramsgate during the afternoon of Tuesday 16 April 2024, when they noticed a blue car seen in the area which had been reported as stolen.
The theft is believed to have taken place from the London Road area of Dover on 4 March.
Patrols monitored the vehicle which stopped in Newington and gave officers the chance to speak to the occupants.
A 21-year-old man from Dover, was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, possessing drugs and driving offences. He was released on bail until 15 July pending further enquiries.
Officers also gave a community resolution to a woman who admitted possessing cannabis.
