A suspected drug dealer has been charged after police officers stopped a car in St Peter’s Road Broadstairs shortly after midnight on Thursday 25 April 2024.
The two local response officers were on patrol when they saw a vehicle veer into oncoming traffic.
The vehicle was stopped and searched and items including a number of bags of suspected Class A drugs, as well as cannabis, were found and seized.
Following enquiries a woman from Manchester was charged on Thursday 25 April 2024 with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, failing to provide a sample for analysis when requested to do so and possession of cannabis.
The 28-year-old appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court at an initial hearing on Friday 26 April and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday 28 May.
