Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott has been re-elected despite fewer votes cast for the Conservative candidate. He won with 120,491 votes, a 44.1% share of the vote, but 13.7% lower than the last poll in 2021.
Matthew Scott stood against Labour Co-op candidate Lenny Rolles who polled 92,508 votes and Graham Colley, for the Liberal Democrats, with 60,279 votes, increasing their share on 2021 by 8.6% and 5.1% respectively.

‘I look forward to continuing my productive working relationship with Mr Scott as we continue to deliver the Police and Crime Plan and work together to keep Kent one of the safest places in the country.’
The local council elections saw Tory losses and Labour gains, but Conservative PCCs were re-elected across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
