Kent’s Crime Squad has been carrying out enquiries after 13 vehicles and four buildings were broken into between October 2022 and March 2023. The majority of offences were carried out in Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay where power tools were stolen from vans and businesses.

Charges

A man aged 42, a 25-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man from Canterbury; have now each been charged with conspiracy to burgle homes, conspiracy to burgle non-dwellings and conspiracy to steal from motor vehicles.

The 42-year-old man was bailed to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 17 May, and the man aged 18 and woman aged 25 were bailed to appear before the same court on 20 June.
