Police are appealing for dashcam footage and witnesses to a serious collision in Rochester yesterday afternoon.
Kent Police was called at 4.25pm on Sunday 12 May 2024 to a report of a black BMW S1000 XR motorcycle colliding with the central reservation in Berwick Way. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived on the scene and a man in his 50s was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries. He remains there in a serious but stable condition.
An investigation is being carried out by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist enquiries.
