Kent Police was called at 12.30am on Monday 20 May 2024 to a report that a man had been assaulted outside an address in Biggin Street and had sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service medics arrived and the man was airlifted to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
It’s reported that shortly afterwards enquiries at the scene led to the arrest of a 23-year-old man who is believed to be known to the victim. He remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
