Police investigators are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was arrested in connection with a serious assault in Dartford between 7.10pm and 7.30pm on Sunday 19 May 2024, outside a supermarket in Oldfield Place.

It is reported a woman in her 30s was assaulted with a bottle and suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds, during an incident involving several people. Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for medical attention. She has since been discharged following treatment to her injuries.

Officers arrested a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of assault who was taken into custody. She was later bailed pending further investigation.

It is understood there were members of the public in the area at the time of the incident and officers are urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone with relevant mobile phone, private CCTV or dashcam footage.
