Kent Police reported an incident at 1.57am on Thursday 16 May 2024 when they were contacted by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an injured man at an address in Camden Square, Ramsgate.

Officers attended the property where a man in his 40s, was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds and taken to hospital. It was reported that money had been stolen from the victim during a robbery in Boundary Park a short while earlier. 

Following an investigation, five people were arrested. A 44-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and two 37-year-old women, all from Ramsgate, were bailed pending further enquiries. A man aged 46, of no fixed address, was charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of a blade in a public place. He was remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20 May.
