Police investigators have charged two men following a burglary at a property in Medway.

On Monday 20 May 2024, a burglary was reported at an address in Cooling Road, Rochester where a quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen. Officers from the Kent Crime Squad started an investigation and completed a review of CCTV in the area, along with a forensic examination of the scene.

Detectives subsequently visited a location in Charlton, Greater London on Wednesday 29 May, where they arrested three suspects.

Two of no fixed address, were later charged with burglary. The third man was released without charge.

The two charged were remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 31 May.
