Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service, shortly before 2.00am on Thursday 16 May 2024, to an injured man at an address in Camden Square.

Police arrived at the property where the man, who is in his 40s, was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds and taken to hospital. It was reported that money had been stolen from the victim during a robbery in Boundary Park a short while earlier. 

Following an investigation, five people were arrested.

On Saturday 1 June, detectives charged a Ramsgate woman with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and robbery. The 37-year-old is due to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 1 July.

A man aged 46, of no fixed address, was previously charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of a blade in a public place and is due to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 17 June.

A 40-year-old woman from Ramsgate was bailed pending further enquiries and a 37-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, also from Ramsgate, were released without charge.
