The Port of Dover have been informed that there could possibly be industrial action at the Port of Calais, on Friday 7th June between 00:00 – 09:00 CET (AM) on 7th June, followed by a strike until 00:00 CET (AM) on 8th June.

This means that potentially limited traffic and vessels will be allowed into or out of Calais Port but the Port of Dover remains open, and it’s understood that Dunkirk is unaffected.

Port bosses say they will monitor the situation closely in liaison with our ferry partners and the Port of Calais, however, please note that there may be delays to some services.

They apologise for any delays or inconvenience as a result of the industrial action in France and customers are being advised to contact their chosen ferry operator before travelling.
