Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a roof alight on a building in Station Road, New Romney shortly before 8.00pm this evening 9 June.
Three fire engines arrived on the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus have now put out the fire.
It’s understood there were no injuries reported. The cause of the blaze is currently unknown.
