Kent Police was called to a shop in the city’s High Street shortly before 5pm on Saturday 8 June 2024 following a report a shop worker had been assaulted.

A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating the reported assault in Canterbury in which the victim was given treatment in hospital.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist enquiries.
