Shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024, Kent Police was called to a report that a man’s body had been found on farmland near Hythe.
Officers attended and a man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of a 64-year-old man from Hythe, who was reported missing on Wednesday 5 June, have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
