A grey BMW car was travelling in Broadstairs Road when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the crossing near the junction with Green Lane.
The collision took place between 8am and 8.20am on Friday 28 June 2024 in which a teenage girl reportedly sustained a serious injury and was airlifted to a London hospital.
An 83-year-old man from Broadstairs was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and taken into custody.
