A grey BMW car was travelling in Broadstairs Road when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the crossing near the junction with Green Lane.
The collision took place between 8am and 8.20am on Friday 28 June 2024 in which a teenage girl reportedly sustained a serious injury and was airlifted to a London hospital.
An 83-year-old man from Broadstairs was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and taken into custody.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who was in the area and might have dashcam footage which could assist, to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 28-0256.
