A suspect has been charged by detectives investigating a report of an attempted burglary in Swanley.
On Tuesday 2 May 2024, a resident returned to their address in Dale Road where two men were allegedly trying to break into his property. The men fled and an investigation was commenced including the examination of CCTV in the area and forensic examination of the scene.
On Wednesday 24 July, a man was arrested in Welling, Greater London.The suspect from Dudley, West Midlands, was later charged with attempted burglary and failing to provide a sample for a drug test. The 40-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 July.
