Two men and teenager allegedly threaten boy with hammer and steal e-bike near Sevenoaks

Kent Police is appealing for information following a report of an e-bike rider robbed near Sevenoaks.

In the incident which happened in Old Polhill just before 11.45am on Thursday 1 August 2024. It is alleged two men and a teenage boy approached the victim and threatened him with a hammer before the teenager left the scene on the e-bike. The other suspects left on foot in the direction of Filston Lane.

The bike was later found dumped at the junction of Old Polhill and Filston Lane.

The two men are described as being in their mid-30s. One was six feet tall with a large build and ginger stubble. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. The second man was around five feet and eight inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing jeans and the teenager was white, around 14 years old, of small build, five feet and four inches tall and with ginger hair.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 01-0461. Local residents with private CCTV or doorbell cameras, and motorists with dashcam who were in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for relevant footage.
