Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a corn field on fire in St Mary’s Road, St Mary’s in the Marsh on Monday afternoon, 5 August.
Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier arrived and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported and the blaze was extinguished after by 3.30pm. The cause is as yet unknown.
