Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a garage fire in Market Way, Canterbury just after 4.30 on Wednesday afternoon, 7 August.
Four fire engines tackled the fire, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the blaze which was spreading to the roof of an adjoining bungalow.
KFRS’ volunteer response team also attended to provide support to residents. One person was taken into the care of SECAmb paramedics with burns and smoke inhalation. As yet, the cause of the fire is not known.
