Kent Police was called following a report of a man exposing himself in the Tontine Street area shortly after 10pm on Monday 12 August 2024.
A 27-year-old man was arrested nearby a short time later. Further enquiries established he was wanted on recall and he is being transferred to prison while enquiries into the incident continue.
Detectives believe other people may have been in the area and witnessed what happened and are appealing for anyone who can assist and is yet to speak to officers call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/135746/24.
