Owners sought after suspected stolen vehicles recovered by Rural Task Force

The owners of two suspected stolen items recovered by Kent Police’s Rural Task Force are being sought.

Two items officers are hoping to reunite with the owners

On Friday 21 June 2024 the task force team assisted by colleagues from Dartford Council, Sevenoaks District Council, the Environment Agency, National Highways and His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs visited land in Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, following reports of illegal waste processing, environmental damage and anti-social behaviour.

While on site officers seized several suspected stolen vehicles including a motorhome, John Deere Gator, towable generator and multiple car parts.

Since the stolen items were recovered officers have worked hard to reunite them with their rightful owners, but have so far been unable to identify who owns a white compressor and a red Honda quad bike, pictured above.

Anyone who believes the items belong to them will need to ensure they can show proof of ownership, such as providing information about identifying features, serial numbers and receipts.

As part of the ongoing work partner agencies are continuing to progress their enquiries into the other suspected illegal activities at the site and anyone with information is urged to call 01474 366149 quoting reference 13-0815.
