RAF War Memorial, Folkestone Photo: Folkestone Town Council
The Battle of Britain Day in Folkestone is to be commemorated with a wreath laying service at the RAF War Memorial at The Leas on 15 September 2024.
The Service will be conducted by Captain Richard Oliver of the Salvation Army and the Town Mayor of Folkestone, Councillor Abena Akuffo-Kelly, will be there with Town Councillors, representatives of ex-service associations, cadet and youth organisations and their Standard Bearers.
The public are invited to attend and all are asked to assemble for 5.45pm.
