In a swift response, Kent Police recovered two stolen bicycles near Sevenoaks within 30 minutes of the thefts being reported.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 3 September 2024, when officers received a call just before 1:20 PM about bicycles stolen from a residential property near Bat and Ball Road. Patrols quickly searched the area and, within half an hour, located three teenage suspects at Bat and Ball train station.
The officers recovered the stolen bikes and seized two additional bicycles suspected to have been stolen earlier that day. The suspects, aged 14 and 15, are set to attend interviews at a local police station and the recovered bikes have been returned to their rightful owners.
