Calling all Folkestone fans! Got a snap of our beloved town that you adore? Whether it’s a vintage shot or a recent fave, people want to see it!

For the upcoming Folkestone: Past, Present and Future exhibition, the council is on the hunt for your best pics, especially those featuring Sandgate Road, Guildhall Street, Rendezvous Street, and Bouverie Square.

Got prints or film rolls? Bring them to Nik & Trick Photography on The Old High Street on Thursday, 19 September or Saturday, 21 September. The pros there will digitise your treasures for free!

Selected photos will shine in a special exhibition on 11 and 12 October, part of the Folke About Town series. It’s a chance to celebrate our town’s rich history and bright future.

Cllr Rich Holgate says,

“I bet loads of you have amazing photos hidden away. Let’s bring them out and celebrate Folkestone together!”

Remember, you need permission from the photographer to submit a photo. You can digitise up to five photos and one roll of film per person. All prints will be returned along with a digital copy. For more info, email folkeabouttown@gmail.com. Let’s make this exhibition unforgettable!
