A man from Folkestone has been charged following two reported burglaries in the town.
Kent Police was called on Saturday 7 September 2024 to a report that premises near to The Leas had been targeted between 2am and 2.30am that morning and that alcohol was missing. An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of a 30-year-old man on Thursday 12 September.
The following day, officers charged him with burglary. He was also charged in connection with a reported burglary on Tuesday 10 September. It was alleged that premises near to Trinity Gardens had been entered overnight and items of food and alcohol had been taken.
The accused was due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 September.
