A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a suspicious package found in Radnor Park West, Folkestone.
Kent Police responded to the scene at 7:44 AM on Wednesday, 18 September, where a cordon was established as a precaution. The Ministry of Defence’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called in to examine the item, subsequently declaring the area safe.
The suspect, a local resident, was taken into custody later the same day. He has since been released on bail as investigations continue.
