Police keen to identify man who could assist enquiries into Canterbury underpass assault

Police are investigating an assault in Canterbury and have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify.

Officers responded to an incident at an underpass beneath Upper Bridge Street at 12:45 am on Friday, 30 August 2024, where a man was reported to have been punched and had fallen to the ground.

The victim suffered facial injuries that required hospital treatment.

The investigation is ongoing, and officers have released images, shown above, of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
