Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision on the A2 near Rochester at 2.30am on Thursday 26 September 2024.
In the incident a black VW Tiguan was travelling on the coastbound carriageway near the slip road for the A289 towards Wainscott and it collided with the central barrier and a bridge parapet.
Police patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived at the scene where the driver, a 29-year-old man, was confirmed deceased. His next of kin have been informed.
