Brutal attack in Ashford leaves man with severe injuries and broken bones – Suspect arrested!

In a frightening turn of events, a man was viciously assaulted in Ashford, leaving him with severe injuries.

The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, September 28, 2024, at around 10:30 PM, as the victim, a man in his thirties, was ambushed from behind after leaving a public house on Mead Road, Willesborough.

The brutal attack resulted in the victim sustaining multiple broken bones and serious facial injuries. He was swiftly taken to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment.

On the evening of Tuesday, October 1, a 26-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail as the investigation continues to unfold.

Kent Police are urgently appealing for witnesses who have not yet come forward. They are particularly interested in any doorbell, CCTV, or dashcam footage that might shed light on this heinous crime.
