Drugs, cash, and weapons seized in Isle of Sheppey raids: Two arrested

In August 2024, Kent Police identified a specific mobile phone which was reportedly being used to supply cocaine to users in the Sheerness area.

Their enquiries led them to execute three search warrants on the Isle of Sheppey on Wednesday 2 October 2024 in which police officers seized a multiple wraps of suspected cocaine, a quantity of cannabis, cash, mobile phones and a knuckleduster. Two suspects were arrested and taken into custody.

A 25-year-old man from Minster-on-Sea and a man aged 31 from Sheerness, were later charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possessing criminal property, namely the seized cash. The Minster man was also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon in a private place while the suspect from Sheerness was further charged with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.
