Folkestone Magistrates’ Court
A suspected drug dealer from Folkestone has been charged following an investigation by Kent Police.
Detectives identified a mobile phone number that was reportedly used to contact a known local drug user on multiple occasions in July 2024. It was alleged that the same phone number had been used by a man connected with an address in the Folkestone area.
On 2 October 2024, officers attended the address and arrested a man. A search led to the recovery of a mobile phone, cash, and a quantity of wraps believed to contain cocaine and heroin.
Later that day, officers charged the man with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 3 October and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on 4 November 2024.
