In a daring daylight heist, a trio of suspected robbers stormed a Vodafone store in Sittingbourne, making off with thousands of pounds worth of high-tech gadgets. The incident, which took place on Thursday, October 17, left locals shaken and police scrambling to apprehend the culprits.

Witnesses described the suspects as two men and a teenage boy, who forced their way into the store at around 5.20 PM. Once inside, they allegedly ransacked the premises, grabbing whatever they could get their hands on.

Acting swiftly, Kent Police sped to the scene. They launched a manhunt and by 7.00 PM, officers had arrested the suspects in a park near Canterbury Street, Gillingham. Several items believed to be stolen from the Vodafone store were recovered during the operation.

Police are now searching for a silver Audi A3 that may be connected to the robbery. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the suspects is urged to contact Kent Police or Crimestoppers.

The three suspects, a 22-year-old man from Gillingham, a 24-year-old from east London, together with a 17-year-old boy also from east London, were all charged with robbery. They were due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, October 19.
