Police officers in Dartford have seized around 150 suspected cocaine and heroin deals, with the assistance of a drugs dog. The enforcement took place in Joyce Green Lane after a patrol spotted a suspicious car, at around 2.30pm on Tuesday 22 October 2024.

The constables spoke to the vehicle’s two occupants and they were detained for a search. Cash along with mobile phones were seized and the car was taken to a police station where a drugs dog was deployed.
Police Dog Hudson indicated towards a door handle inside the vehicle and on further inspection, multiple deals of suspected heroin and cocaine were located inside a hidden compartment.
A 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from South Ockendon, Essex, were arrested and taken into custody. They were later bailed to return to the police station while an investigation into the circumstances is completed.
