Deal area residents are on high alert after a spate of car break-ins rocked the town over the weekend.
Between Sunday, November 17, and Tuesday, November 19, Kent Police received multiple reports of vehicles being targeted in the Walmer and Sholden areas. Some cars were even stolen and moved, while others were ransacked for valuables.
Fortunately, cops have made swift progress, arresting a 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of theft. The duo remains in custody. Police are urging anyone who may have been a victim of car crime, or who has any information, to come forward.

Motorists are advised to ensure their cars are locked, parked in well-lit areas covered by CCTV where possible, and not to leave anything in vehicles, particularly not to leave anything on show.
