Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on a bus in Folkestone Road, Dover on Saturday, November 2nd shortly after 8:40 AM when it was reported a man stepped onboard and attempted to assault a fellow passenger.

The bus driver then intervened but he too was assaulted. The suspect then caused further disturbances in the area, approaching individuals in other vehicles including a motorcyclist who is believed to have been assaulted as well.

A 45-year-old man from Dover was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage, and possession of class B drugs. He has since been released on bail pending further investigation.

Despite reviewing CCTV footage, police believe there may be additional victims and witnesses who have not yet come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference number 46/186017/24.
