Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery in Maidstone on Monday, November 18th, 2024, around 5:15 PM. It is alleged that two teenagers were approached by the two suspects in Wyatt Street, threatened, and had an electric bike stolen.
The stolen bike was subsequently recovered the following day, and two individuals were arrested. Both suspects, aged 22 and 20, have been charged with robbery. The pair appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on November 20th and 21st, respectively, and remain in custody.
A further hearing is scheduled for December 16th at Maidstone Crown Court.
