Get ready for a doodle-tastic adventure! Ashford’s very own art wizard, Mr. Doodle, has conjured up a mind-boggling masterpiece that’s longer than a football pitch!

The doodle-tastic mural, a whopping 203 metres of pure imagination, is now gracing the streets of Ashford, turning heads and sparking smiles.

Mr. Doodle, the doodling dynamo, braved the elements on a wild and windy Friday to bring this doodle dream to life. Rain or shine, he scribbled and scrawled, turning a blank canvas into a colorful wonderland. So next time you’re strolling through Ashford, keep your eyes peeled for this doodle extravaganza – it’s a sight to behold!

Keen to add to his existing works of art in the town Mr Doodle called on Ashford Borough Council if it could help with a suitable site, explained ABC arts and cultural industries manager Chris Dixon.

“Mr Doodle was eager to work on the Infinity site hoardings, which is owned by our commercial housing arm, A Better Choice for Property, and it was happy to give permission. The following day Mr Doodle hit the ground running at 8am and remarkably completed the work in just one day. It looks fantastic.”

Council Chief Executive Tracey Kerly, who is also a Director of ABC for Property, added:

“It’s already created lots of interest and it’s been lovely to see lots of selfies of passers-by on social media. It’s worth pointing out that this amazing public artwork has been delivered at absolutely no cost to the council – Mr Doodle is a huge fan of Ashford and did all this off his own back. He even repaired bits of the hoarding that needed it.

“Mr Doodle has told us he had so many nice and positive comments on the day and I think people will really enjoy the piece and how it’s brightened up this prominent and busy road junction in Ashford.”
