Jaw broken during alleged bottle assault in Paddock Wood

A suspect has been arrested in connection an alleged assault in which the victim was struck with a beer bottle and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Detectives are continuing to seek witnesses to the assault on Maidstone Road in Paddock Wood near to the town’s fire station, at around 11pm on Monday 25 November 2024.

The victim was left suffering injuries including a broken jaw.

A 25-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested on Wednesday 27 November and charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on the following day and is currently remanded in custody, pending a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday 2 January 2025.
