Wintry Weather Alert: Snow and Ice Expected for Kent tonight!

The Met Office has issued a warning of light snow showers which are expected to affect parts of Kent in the afternoon and evening (8 January), with accumulations likely to be minimal on most surfaces. However, 1-2 cm could settle locally, with higher amounts possible on upland areas.

As temperatures plummet tonight, widespread ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces.
