Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported rape in Margate on Tuesday evening.
The incident is alleged to have occurred between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM on January 21st along the promenade between the Lido and Newgate Gap near Ethelbert Crescent. The victim reported being approached and assaulted by another man.
The suspect is described as slim, under 5’5″ tall, and in his early 20s. He was reportedly wearing a black hooded coat, black tracksuit, and black trainers. Detectives are currently investigating the scene.
