Continued efforts by Kent Police to disrupt the activity of criminal networks have resulted in a 500 cannabis plant cultivation being dismantled and plants destroyed in Medway.

Officers executed a warrant at Victory Park, Medway City Estate in Rochester on Monday 20 January 2025 and located a large quantity of plants together with growing equipment. The plants, with an estimated street value of around £200,000, were seized and enquiries to identify those responsible for the cultivation are ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Sherriff said:

‘The large scale production of cannabis is linked to violent and serious organised crime, as well as modern day slavery and the exploitation of vulnerable people. We will always strive to stamp out this illegal activity and bring the perpetrators to justice.’

Anyone with relevant information to assist the investigation is urged to contact Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting 46/10861/25.
