Andrew Griggs, 62, who was convicted of murdering his pregnant wife Debbie in 1999, is facing additional criminal charges.
Debbie Griggs, 34, vanished from her home in Deal, Kent, in May 1999. Her husband, Andrew, reported her missing but denied any involvement. However, a cold case investigation led to his conviction for murder in 2019.
In 2022, Debbie’s remains were discovered buried in the garden of a property in Dorset. Following this discovery, Griggs has been charged with perverting the course of justice and obstructing a coroner in the execution of their duty.
He is scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 13, 2025, to face these new charges.
