Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision on the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford. The incident occurred at approximately 6:28 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, on the northbound carriageway leading towards Junctions 10 and 10A of the M20.
A blue Audi was involved in a collision with a male pedestrian in his 40s. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the investigation and is urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Officers believe a driving instructor may have been in the vicinity at the time and may possess crucial dashcam footage.
