Areas of Rochester and Strood were patrolled on foot, with vehicles travelling into the towns being stopped and checked in response to concerns raised by residents and business owners.

Police Sergeant Chris Watson, of the Medway Community Safety Unit, said:

‘We have completed another of our regular enforcement days in an effort to tackle the small minority of people who persist in acting in an antisocial or disorderly manner.
‘Working with our partners, we were able to use a range of tactics including words of advice, vehicle seizures, reporting for summons and arrests when appropriate. These days of action will continue over coming months.’
