Medway drug supply targeted in simultaneous police raids

Kent Police have intensified their efforts to combat the supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Medway, executing multiple search warrants on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Simultaneous raids took place at three addresses across the area under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

During the operations, officers seized mobile phones, a quantity of cash, and herbal cannabis. Three men were detained and taken into custody for questioning. Following the searches, they were charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, allegedly occurring between November 30, 2024, and January 30, 2025. One of the individuals was also charged with possession of cannabis and possessing criminal property, specifically the seized cash.

They appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 31st, and were subsequently remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court, scheduled for Friday, February 28th. The investigation into drug supply in the Medway area is ongoing.
