Detectives are appealing for witnesses after two individuals were arrested in connection with an alleged knifepoint robbery on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at approximately 10 pm.
A man walking on Beachborough Road reported being approached by the occupants of a white car who threatened him with a knife. The assailants stole his mobile phone and subsequently used it to transfer funds from his bank account. Police have indicated that the victim and the suspects were known to each other.
On Monday, February 3rd, officers arrested an 18-year-old man from Folkestone and a 17-year-old boy from Hythe in connection with the incident. Both currently remain in custody.
